肖西蒙自2018年3月起任柯林斯宇航的短艙制造工廠——古德里奇航空技術（天津）有限公司總經理。該工廠位于天津空港經濟區綜合保稅區，主要生產短艙的復合材料零部件，預裝配發動機與短艙以及提供天津空客總裝線短艙裝配現場支持。在他的帶領下，工廠大力推行精益生產使該工廠的質量，生產效率和業務量逐年攀升。

在加入柯林斯宇航之前，肖西蒙曾就職的公司包括約翰迪爾，Harsco（哈斯科），Van-Rob Stamping, Tenneco Automotive , Babcock & Wilcox, Trenton Works, 和西安航空發動機公司。他曾經工作和負責的工廠所在地包括了中國、加拿大、美國、泰國、墨西哥和印度。

出生于中國西安的肖西蒙擁有西北工業大學焊接工程專業學士學位，加拿大滑鐵盧大學焊接應用科學碩士（MASc）學位，和加拿大羅瑞爾大學工商管理碩士（MBA） 學位。

Simon Xiao, General Manager for Collins Aerospace’s Goodrich Aerospace Technology (Tianjin) Co. Ltd since March 2018. The factory is located in the Comprehensive Bonded Area of Tianjin Airport Economic Area. It manufactures composite parts/components for nacelles, does podding and provides on site tech supports to Airbus Tianjin Final Assembly Line. Under Simon’s leadership the factory has been relentlessly deploying lean manufacturing which has improved quality, productivity while increasing outputs annually.

Before joining Collins Simon worked with John Deere, Harsco, Van-Rob Stamping, Tenneco Automotive, Babcock & Wilcox, Trenton Works and Xi’an Aero Engine. The countries he worked and/or oversaw include China, Canada, US, Thailand, Mexico and India.

Simon was born in Xi’an，China. He holds a welding engineering bachelor degree from Northwestern Polytechnical University in China, a welding applied science master degree (MASc) from Waterloo University in Canada, and a MBA from Wilfred Laurier University in Canada.
