個人簡介：
Chang Wea Meng is a seasoned Banking professional with more than 25 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry. He started his career with Price Waterhouse Singapore in Audit, before moving to PW Tokyo as part of the Banking & Financial Services consultancy group. He joined Banque Paribas’s Internal Control and Inspection Generale group and was tasked with portfolio restructuring reviews following the Asian crisis. Wea Meng joined Standard Chartered Bank in Dec 1998, and has had opportunities to be part of, and lead various transformation initiatives over the last 18 years. These included:· Global Head, Credit Operations Wholesale Bank (WB)o Designed and built a standardised Credit Operations model, across all WB markets, including the build out of 4 new global processing hubs in Chennai, Kuala Lumpur, Nairobi, and Accra. o Designed and built the first single-instance global Single Customer Identifier system and process, migrating from 16 non-standard country systems for customer static data managemento Designed and built the first banking book Collateral Management system, standardising collateral perfection and documentation processes to improve risk mitigation and support capital optimization.· Global Head, Strategic Information Management WBo Created this new function to support WB’s strategy to leverage information to drive competitive advantage.o Built a framework and capability to manage Return on Risk Weighted Asset, strategically aligning Bank, Client Segment and Relationship Manager’s performance target around optimizing risk adjusted returns while managing the Basel II levers for portfolio quality and balance sheet optimization.· Global Head, Analytics Enablemento Identify opportunities with the Businesses to leverage internal and external data to better understand our clients’ business, and improve our service and product offering to themo Leverage Big Data technology and Data Science / Analytics to challenge the way we do banking, and enable step changes to improve organisation effectiveness and efficiencyo Selectively partner Fintech companies to conduct Proof of Concepts to test new capabilities for adoption.· Global Head, eXelleratoro Enable innovation in Standard Chartered Bank through creating the following capabilities § Human centred design thinking, quick prototyping and co-creation with clients§ Proof of Concept with new technology and start ups§ Ecosystem scan to curate house view on new tech and start-ups to engage
